iOS Development Lead
Responsibilities:
Technical Architecture: Define and maintain the high-level structure of our iOS applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Code Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers to foster a culture of engineering excellence.
Swift Leadership: Lead the transition to or optimization of modern frameworks like SwiftUI and Combine, while managing legacy UIKit components where necessary.
App Store Ecosystem Management: Manage the end-to-end deployment process via App Store Connect, including TestFlight distribution and coordinating with Apple’s review team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs and work with Backend Engineers to define robust API contracts.
The ideal candidate will have:
Deep Swift Expertise: 6+ years of professional experience in iOS development with a mastery of Swift and a strong grasp of Objective-C.
Architecture Fluency: Proven experience with architectural patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
Memory & Performance Tuning: Proficiency in using Instruments and XCTest for profiling memory leaks, CPU usage, and ensuring thread safety.
Core Framework Mastery: Extensive experience with foundational frameworks (Core Data, Core Animation, Grand Central Dispatch, and URLSession).
Tooling Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Xcode, CocoaPods/Swift Package Manager (SPM), and Git-based workflows.
It will be a plus if you have:
Continuous Integration: Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines specifically for iOS (e.g., Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions).
Multimedia Experience: Knowledge of AVFoundation, Core Image, or ARKit for specialized app features.
Published Portfolio: A history of leading or contributing significantly to high-rating apps currently available on the App Store.
Open Source Contributions: Active participation in the iOS developer community or contributions to well-known Swift libraries.
