Project Manager (App Development)

Responsibilities:

• 
  SDLC Oversight: Lead the full app development lifecycle from discovery and wireframing to deployment on the App Store/Google Play.
• 
  Sprint Management: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to keep the development velocity high.
• 
  Feature Prioritization: Work closely with Product Owners to manage the backlog, ensuring the team builds high-impact features first.
• 
  Technical Liaison: Translate complex client requirements into clear, actionable user stories and technical tickets for the dev team.
• 
  UAT & QA Coordination: Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with QA testers to squash bugs before any public release.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 
  Tech-Savvy Foundation: A solid understanding of how apps are built (frontend vs. backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure like AWS or Firebase).
• 
  Agile DNA: Deep experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and managing boards in Jira or Linear.
• 
  Release Knowledge: Familiarity with the submission processes for Apple App Store Connect and Google Play Console.
• 
  Conflict Resolution: The ability to negotiate "feature creep" and keep the project within the original MVP (Minimum Viable Product) scope.
• 
  User-Centric Mindset: A basic understanding of UX/UI principles to ensure the end product is actually intuitive for users.

It will be a plus if you have:

  Technical Roots: Background as a former developer or QA engineer.
• 
  Tool Mastery: Experience with design hand-off tools like Figma or Zeplin.
• 
  Security & Compliance: Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC2.
• 
  Automation Experience: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
